Taapsee Pannu On Bollywood Losing Rishi Kapoor And Irrfan Khan: 'I Am In Disbelief'- EXCLUSIVE
Last week, the world witness a big loss as Bollywood's two
Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor are no more with us and their deaths have left a big void in the film industry. Fans across the globe are still mourning the huge loss. Many of their co-stars are still cannot believe that they have passed away so soon. Taapsee Pannu is no different.
We caught up with the actress for a video interview, and concluded the chat by remembering the epitomes of talent- Irrfan and Rishi ji. Taapsee never got the opprtunity to work with Irrfan but with Rishi Kapoor, she shared screen space in Mulk. The actress is quite shocked with their deaths.
"With Irrfan sir, I was supposed to do a film long back but that didn't workout. But I did meet him once at that time. What I have known of him is through the amazing films he has been a part of. I remember I used to take pride in telling my friends abroad, when Irrfan sir starred in films like Spiderman, that he is an actor who is an Indian. It's a huge loss," Taapsee said.
The Pink actress then spoke about Rishi Kapoor fondly. She said, "I worked with him in Mulk and we shared an extremely warm bond. He was that sort of a person- you either get along with him or you don't, and I really got along well with him, we shared the Punjabi vibes, jokes- I can't beleive he is gone, still can't," said Taapsee
Irrfan Khan breathed his last on April 29. He was admitted at the hospital for a colon infection. Rishi Kapoor passed away on Aoril 30, after fighting a long battle with Lukemia. The industry will always remember their remarkable contribution to the Indian cinema.
